B O U T H O U S E ARCHITECT 

Park West Presentation Center was designed in 2017 and opened in 2018 to the public. The site is located in the district of North Vancouver. The client asked for a prominent location to help with the marketing of the project and our intention was also to create a sustainable project. The PC is located at the corner of two busy streets. One facade of the building offers a seating area that invites people to sit and wait for the bus at the bench attached to the wall. The wall is covered with a large billboard presenting the amazing views of the project towards the ocean.

 

 Park West's Sales Center was composed of 3 used trailers that came together to create space for a show suite and sales offices. All the wood work on the facade and the steps to the bus bench were reclaimed wood from the demolished grouse inn restaurant or reusable wood studs. The glazing at the corner let natural light into the interior lobby and gave a glimpse of what is inside.  The intention of the project was to create a sustainable project that is appropriate for its short term life.
